~ Follow Your Bliss ~

“If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. When you can see that, you begin to meet people who are in the field of your bliss, and they open the doors to you. I say, follow your bliss and don’t be afraid, and doors will open where you didn’t know they were going to be.”

Finding bliss in your life requires you to understand the workings of the mind. We encounter stress and depression when we allow our thoughts to take hold of us. When we become liberated from the mind, we experience bliss. To become liberated, you must stop connecting thoughts. We connect unrelated moments of sadness and convince ourselves our life has been nothing but suffering. The truth is that each moment is unrelated. Connecting each moment brings about a false sense of what is true.

Between each thought is a moment of space. We are quick to eliminate that moment by fast forwarding to the next thought. With practice, you’ll become more peaceful and blissful by enjoying the moments between thoughts.
